I was going to add 'and when', but I realize that after a teaser like this I'll have to come through with something in the next day or two. If anyone is paying attention. If I merely say that I have had occasion to re-evaluate and re-interpret the entire course of my life history to date, does that give an adequate idea of scope and depth? My mind—such as it is—is blown ...

But I've gotta, I've just gotta give you more than that. So first of all, I'll say that it's my intention to re-activate on the blog—start posting more frequently as I did in days of yore. I know I can do it. And second: here's a 'golden oldie' IM exchange that demonstrates that, if you like 'facetious' when you're pouring your heart out to a friend, I'm your girl:

"Retard" is such an ambivalent term, don't you think? And very subjective too. Asshole, on the other hand (now there's an image I don't want), is soooo expressive and specific. It is a medical term isn't it?
